A little information on how this book series came about! It started with an idea that I began typing out as a story for fun. I read it to my family at dinner. They laughed and enjoyed what I had written, so I kept going. Soon 8 pages became 15, and then 15 became 30. I kept going until I had 110,000 words! But that was too many words for one book, so I split the story into three books, but then I needed more words. I wrote and wrote, and here I am with the first book ready to share with you! How exciting!

This story has changed a lot over the course of revisions and ideas that came about as I talked with my family. I read the story to my daughter when she was in elementary school. She is hesitant to read the new version with the changes because she has her memories and imaginings from when I read the story to her early on, and that’s okay. She loved every minute of my reading to her as much as I loved reading it. I cherish the moments we shared on my journey here.

Now I have the first book and the ones to follow that I get to share with you. Whether you are reading by yourself or with someone, I hope you find as much imagination and adventure between the pages as we did!
